You can try to apply for a China visa(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa.htm) either in Hu Chi Minh City or in Laos. But be noticed you may be refused visa there since you are required to apply for a visa to China in your home country according to the regulation. Visa fee is about US$30 for a single entry. And the duration of stay is counted from the very date you enter China.
