About:China Visa Fees

Hello, I have overstayed by 4 days on an F Visa. This is the third time of overstay by a few days and I was prevented exit at Maccau and was told to report to the police station. I do not have a temporary residence permit. What is likely to happen? I am married to a Chinese and need to return to the mainland.

don't worry, it will be ok if you will pay fine per day extra to the immigration authorities.

Mr. Grawley & Mr. Luke,

I have overstayed one day, and it is my -second- time to do so. Both the first time, and this second time are in Shenzhen. I also do not have a temporary residence permit, and am married to a Chinese woman.

Mr. Grawley, what happened on your second offense?

It is the holidays, so I must wait a few days for the PSB/PSD to open. These days may or may not be added to the fine. No employee can tell me details because the PSB/PSD is closed. They say I will also probably need a visa extension, and to get a new visa, revoking my original (which seems contradictory to the term "visa extension").

How did this work out, Mr. Grawley?
Mr. Luke, how do you know this?

you take responsibility for the extra days even when the PSB is close for holiday. You need to pay the fine and they will issue you a 10 days visa for leaving.

I have had my second overstay, and am returning to my home country to apply for a new visa.

Please tell us if you were able to get a visa.
