About:China Train Stations

I'm intending to book the below tickets:
From Shanghai hongqiao To Yiwu
Train No.: D5689
Train Time: Departure: 07:45 Arrival: 09:58

But wish to first confirm the exact position of "Shanghai Hongqiao" Station? Is it the same as the one on the metro station line 2 near the Hongqiao Airport?

Yes, the Hongqiao train station is located close to the terminal 2 of Hongqiao Airport and subway line 2 has one metro station there. For the tickets, you could purchase at train stations or book them online in advance.
