About:Shantou Transportation

Hi,
I intend to travel to Shantou in March and thought of proceeding to Xiamen. Is the distance far ? Which mode of transport can I take ? Train, bus or railway ? What is the amount, hour to reach ? Do I need to prebook the tickets ?

it is about 230km from Shantou to Xianmen. You may take a direct bus from Shantou Bus Station to Xiamen, and then ticket price is aroud 300 Yuan, and it takes about 4 hours. There are over 20 buses daily, you may just buy the tickets on arrival.
