About:China Visa on Arrival

We are travelling to Thailand via China. We are just there to catch another plane not entering China at all. Do we need a Visa????

You don't need a visa, but you'd better check it with your airline company. As I know, some airline company refuses passengers to board if they don't have valid visa to China (although they don't need a visa to China for the transit). This is because airlines face penalties from governments if passengers are not eligible for entry to a country and they are also responsible for carrying them out again.
