About:China Embassy in Thailand

Can Canadians apply for a Chinese tourist visa from Thailand or Vietnam? My family will be traveling in Asia for a few months. If I apply for a visa in Canada now (January 2011) can I enter China in May 2011?
Thank you!

A single-entry China Tourist Visa(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa/tourist.htm) is valid for 3 months, if you apply for a visa in January, it expires in May 2011, you can't use the visa to enter China, you can try to apply for Chinese tourist visa in Thailand or Vietnam, generally it is easy for Canadians to get a China visa in Thailand or Vietnam. You can also refer to China Tour(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/tour/default.htm) to plan your travelling in China.
