About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

My son, who lives with me in Japan, is visiting Beijing with school teachers. He is a US citizen and 14 years old with permanent residency in Japan. Does he have to go to Chinese Embassy with me? Should I make an appointment?

He doesn't need to go to the Chinese embassy with you, you don't need to make an appointment, please drop off the application directly to the visa office of China embassy.
