About:Harbin Weather

Hi, I'm thinking of visiting Harbin during 2011 Chinese New Year. Is this an extremely busy time to go? Would you recommend that we go at another time?
Thanks,
Anita

It is OK for you to visit Harbin during the Chinese New Year(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/essential/holidays/spring-festival.htm) . You can also have a chance to see the Harbin Ice and Snow Festival(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/attraction/heilongjiang/harbin/ice_snow.htm) which is very beautiful and famous.
There won't be too much crowds during the Chinese New Year Time.
However, it will be extremely cold during that time. The low temperature can reach -20C. If you fear the cold weather, you'd better choose summer to go to Harbin.
