About:Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding

My friend and I plan to visit Chengdu to see the pandas. However, I'm concerned because my guide book says there is an average 2 hours of sunlight in January. Is this true? How would this effect our trip to the B&R center? In addition, are 1 day volunteer opportunities still available at the end of January? How much is the cost?

I don't think the sunlight matters much for your panda visiting, and there is no volunteer opportunities at the panda base.
