About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

I am travelling to Beijing in February, do I have to get a Visa before I leave or can I get one on arrival in Beijing? The Chinese Embassy opening hours in Dublin are only from 9-12 Monday to Thursday which makes it really difficult to do when you are working as you need to drop in and pick up the visa and I don't have anyone else that I could get to do it for me.

The visa can be applied and collected in person, if you can not go there, application is also can be submitted through someone you entrusted, or through a travel agency. Otherwise, you need to have a day off or more for visa submission and collection.
