About:Chinese Consulate in Vancouver

Hi
I am Iranian and I have permanent resident card of canada.Now I decided to travel to Bangkok but my flight (Air China) has one stop in Beijing. Do I need transit visa?

Visa is not required if you will stay in Beijing for not nore than 24 hours without leaving the airport.
