About:Chinese Embassy in UAE

hello m a paki national i would like to ask that hong kong visa processing time ake about 4 weeks to 6 weeks for processing tourist application.
1)Does the chininese embassy hold the applicant passport for6 weeks?
2)or they take all the documents copy n submit to hong kong special admi immigration n then they send visa to dubai chiniese consulate.then chiniese consulate call the applicant?can some one help in this.

The Chinese embassy doesn't hold the passport for 6 weeks, but it send all the requirements including applicants' original passport to the Immigration Department of Hong Kong, after the approval of Immigration Department, it will be sent back to the consulate in Dubai, then you can go to the consulate to pick up your passport and Hong Kong Visa.
