Hi, from Tianjin we will take a train to Beijing and staying at mercure wanshang hotel, which station is near/close to my hotel? what is the different between Beijing West Railway Station (北京西站 and Beijing Railway Station (北京站.thanks.

Mercure Wanshang Beijing is closer to Beijing West Railway Station compared with Beijing Railway Station. It is about 10 km from Beijing West Railway Station. Besides, the two stations are different. Beijing Railway Station is located in the Dongcheng District, while Beijing West Railway Station is in Haidian District. However, almost all the intercity trains running to Tijian depart at Beijing South Railway Station.
