How about your entries of your China visa? if it is a single entry, you are not allowed to re-enter China from Vietnam with it, you have to apply for a new China visa. And Chinese embassy in Vietnam does not accept visa applications from temporary visitors. So, you'd better try to apply for a new one in advance from HK.
