About:Quanzhou Travel

I will be traveling to Quanzhou for a teaching position. Is 19,000rmb a decent salary per month? How much is the average apartment rent in Quanzhou? Where is the best area to live in the city? Also, what is the distance from Quanzhou to Hong Kong? I know you said there are no direct buses, but can I take the train or must I fly to get there? If so, how long will the flight be and the avg. cost? Thank you for the information.

Yes, 19,000 RMB is generally a higher salary per month in Quanzhou. What kind of apartment will you want to rent?
Licheng District is a nice living area with many foreigners gathering together. It may be suitable for you.

Thank you for the response Ms. Sara. I proposed the questions after reading several other entries because I some of the information I received did not seem to match what I found online. I was mistaken about the spelling of the city. It is actually Guangzhou not Quanzhou. Thanks again for the information.
