About:China Tourist Visa

hello, I have read on this forum that if travelling as a tourist to china and then receiving employment from a company in china after arriving in china that the visa can be changed from a tourist visa to a work visa , is this correct? Do you have to leave china to have this happen?

Generally, you are required to back to Canada for your Work Visa application. But if your company can help you with it and possibly through a powerful visa agency, you can change the L to a Z visa without leaving China, and of course you need to pay much for their service. If you are now in Canada and have already decided to take the job, you can apply for a Z visa directly.
