What is the electrical current standard? Can you drink the local tap water? (I'm assuming you can, but, I thought the same thing in Russia only to find out that you can't).

The electricity in China(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/essential/electricity.htm) is generally 220V, 50HZ, AC .
For Drinking Water in China(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/essential/water.htm) , unlike in most western countries, the tap water in China is undrinkable before it is boiled.
