hello, my american passport will expire at the end of may, 2011.

Question

Hello, My American passport will expire at the end of May, 2011. I have a multiple entry visa to China that will expire in April, 2011. Can I use this passport with the visa if I plan to travel to China on January 25th 2011 and to return on Feburary 15th 2011? Or do I need to renew my passport and get a new visa? Thanks, Jo-Ann

You can travel to China(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/) with the visa on your current passport. It is ok for use as you will return on Feburary 15 when your passport is still valid for more than 3 months. The 6 months validity of passport is required only when you submit your China visa application to the embassy.
