I would like to know if you have Z visa and issued at Dongguan then you have to transfer at the other area of China like in Chongqing city for the renewal of the Z visa what are those requirements should be needed?

If you have a resident permit and issued at Dongguan is it possible to renew in other area of mainland in China and what is the requirement if there is?

1, you need to get your foreign experts book stampted, which should be done by your company; you may need to re-sign the working contract with your company for that.
2. Bring your passport, foreign experts book, application form and some photocopies of these documents to your local PSB. They will give you a Yellow form for picking up.
3. Go to the local Police after you collect your passport, get a new “Registration Form of Temporary Residence” for another year or so.

Z visa can not be renewed, what you have to do is to change it into a resident permit within 30 days after entry at local Public Security Bureau. The resident permit can be extended before it expires.

the residence permit is tied to the work permit. I mean it is connected with your employer and the PSB registration the place where you live. If you are registered with the PSB in Dongguan then you can renew there, with the address of your apartment.
The Residence Permit only restricts your place of employment, not where you want to live.
