What does it mean when it says on a visitors visa to China 0 entries as opposed to 1, 2 or multiple entries?

What does it mean when it says on a visitors visa to China 0 entries as opposed to 1, 2 or multiple entries?

I guess you get the new visa within Mailand China, so it is a visa with 0 entries, which means that you can only stay in China during its validity and you can't use the visa to return to Mainland China.
