About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Thank you so much for this explanation! So just want to be sure I understand correctly ...

I have a multiple entry business (F) visa, with a 180 day duration of each stay. The 'Enter Before' date is 27/Feb/2011, and I have been here since 31/Aug/2010. Does this mean that I can leave and re-enter before 27/Feb/2011, (for example, take a day trip to HK on 20/Feb/2011) and I have another 180 days from that re-entry date until my visa expires?

yes, you can exit Mainland China and re-enter before 27/Feb/2011. You can take a day trip to Hong Kong on 10/Feb/2011 and return to Mainland China before 27/Feb/2011, you will have another 180 days stay duration counted from the re-entry date.
