About:Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles

How and where to apply for Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Passport and Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card? If I want to apply in person, will San Francisco office process the application? Can I apply by mail?

You can apply for Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Passport and Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card through China consulate in San Francisco, but you can't apply by mail, you can submit the application in person or entrust someone else to sumit it.
