Hi,I will be travelling to shanghai for 3 days 2 nights, i would like to travel to hangzhou. but i only have 1 day free. i was thinking of staying in shanghai the 1st day, 2nd day will be going to hangzhou and come back to shanghai the same day and 3rd day will be going down to suzhou. is it feasible to complete a 1 day trip in hangzhou?? I think you can have a one day Hangzhou Tour(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/package/hangzhou.htm) on the 2nd day, since it only takes about 1 hour from Shanghai to Hangzhou by express bullet trains.

Thanks alot Mr Bryant! I have another question to ask. There's 2 major bus station to Xitang. How long does it take? How much is it?if i travel on weekends, will it be very diffcult to buy the bus ticket?

You should take the bus from Shanghai beiqu Passenger Station, Shanghai south bus station or Shanghai Bus Station. It takes about 90 minutes, and the tickets is CNY17, 24, 31. It won't be difficult to buy the tickets, since there are many buses departing from the three stations daily.
