i am travelling to shanghai for a tradeshow in febwant to take a side-trip to xian

Question

I am travelling to Shanghai for a tradeshow in Feb and want to take a side-trip to Xian before the show.  What is the best way to do this?  Fly into Shanghai from US- then fly to/from Xian?  Or fly to Xian, then Xian - Shanghai? I've travelled to China before but only Shanghai.Thanks for your help,Deb

There seems no direct flight from USA to Xian, thus you can fly from USA to Shanghai(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/shanghai.htm) . Then fly from Shanghai to Xian. You may check the China Flight Schedule(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-flights/)  to arrange your journey.
