About:China Customs Declaration

I am a US citizen, planning to visit China next March. I will bring my ipad and laptop with me during this visiting, and bring them back to states after. Do I have to pay 1000CNY customs duty? Do I need to declare?

Laptop is one of the 20 items which should be taxed when entering China, so I think you will have to do the declaration and pay the tax.
