About:Guangzhou Weather

pls i will be in Guangzhou 1st week in January what will weather look like.
Do i need a jacket or not
Also need to get a good hotel close to where i can shop for building materials like;
Tiles,Doors,Sanitary wares,etc

weather is nice.
it is warm.
for the building meterials you stay near to dongpu. or in foshan is better.
