About:Chinese Embassy in Portugal

I have a portuguese passport and may need to travel to shanghai in the new year from thailand. Do i need a visa? Im only staying 2 days.

Yes, you need to apply for a visa in advance from Chinese embassy in Portuguese. Or if you work/live in UK, you can process your visa from Chinese Visa Application Service Center there. The general processing time is 4 working days. BTW, for your 2 days visit, you can read Shanghai Tours(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/package/shanghai.htm) to have a better arrangement.
