About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

Hi,
I would like to clarify that staying in China for more than 3 years are qualified for Permanent Resident Visa? My husband is a director of a factory and my 2 kids are also studying here...
Please guide me how to apply, thanks so much!

Thanks for clarifying ....we are waiting for 5 years consecutive without leaving china to visit our country knowing we can get a resident permit expires longer than 1 year( we have a resident permit w/c is yearly renewed, kinda hassle due to yearly new requirements for the visa)..thanks again...

No, Ms.Shine, it is not true. As what the above article states, you can apply for a family visit visa/residence permit (temporary) from your local PSB, valid for a year and can be extended when expire. Permanent residence is almost impossible to get even you have living in China for 3 years.
