About:Dress Code in China

Hi , I am visiting mainland china (Shenzhen) for a business trip to visit a suppliers factory. I am travelling late Dec 2010. What should I wear in order not to offend my hosts? Would prefer not to have to take too much with me?
Thanks
Rob

I think some formal clothes like a suit would be ok. If you prepare to take some presents for your supplier, it is good. As for the quantity, it all depends on you, I know a Chinese saying says the thoughtfulness is worth far more than the gift itself.
