About:Marriage Registration in China

How do i find out a China person's current marital status including whether he/she is married / divorced ?

Mr.Alan, for marriage status, it can be checked out from his/her local police where he/she registered his/her Hukou （permanent residence). However, if he/she never registered marriage at civil status office, nothing can be found in this way.
