About:China Transit Visa

Hi,

My husband and I are US citizen living in Seoul Korea and traveling to Bangkok for vacations on January 19 thru January 23 wtih China Southern Airlines.

Our flight going to Bangkok will stop at Guangzhou Baiyun (CAN) for 3 hours and going back to Korea will stop at Guangzhou Baiyun (CAN)for 5 hours.

Do we need to aply for any visa?

Thanks,

Patricia

You don't need to apply for China transit visa if you won't leave the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/guangdong/guangzhou/airport.htm) during stopover.
