About:Shopping in Guangzhou

i am going to travel to guangzhou on 2nd jan till 12 jan for purchasing ladies fashion bags.my question is,
will it benefical to travel at this time?? since chinese new year is approching and holidays will be starting??

It is OK for you to travel to Guanzghou at that time. Chinese New Year(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/essential/holidays/spring-festival.htm) is coming from Feb.3,2011.All the markets are open during your travel time.
