About:China Transit Visa

Hello I'm a USA passport holder
I have a question I'm going to travel from Malaysia to Shanghai, but Air Asia flights arrive in Hangzhou and then I plan to take a train to Shanghai spend less than 48 hours and then fly to USA through Pudong Airport. Do I need a visa? Because I'm not going to arrive to Pudong Airport neither Hongqiao Airport, but I'm leaving from Pudong's.

Yes, you need to apply for a China Tourist Visa because you will take a train from Hangzhou to Shanghai.
