hmmm.. i plan to do an internship for 6 months... can i take my laptop, digicam, blackberry phone?

Nice tone mr edwin! Considering everybody else here seems to be speaking of getting taxed on similar items I wouldn't have thought it so stupid a question really.. You travel a lot "of course" some say, if you can't say anything nice say nothing. Good luck to you.

Mr. Baker, maybe we misunderstood each other. See your question above, you just asked 'can i take my laptop, digicam, blackberry phone?', you didn't mention about the taxes or anything else, so I just say you can take. Now, I get your meanning, so I would say if the items you will bring have been used and unpacked, no need to pay any tax when entering China.
