What is the different between Guangzhou and Guangzhou East? Thanks

They are two different train stations. Guangzhou Station is located in Yuexiu District while Guangzhou East Station is situated in Tianhe Area. There is also a south station in Panyu District, where mainly bullet trains and G-trains are departing.
