About:China Business Visa

I am currently on a student visa but next year will be going to Korea for a brief visit and hope to return with a working visa -if I have all the paperwork is it possible to get a visa change out of the country? (I have a language school which will provide me with the paperwork). I have previously had a 3 year student visa so know nothing about the recent visa regulations... thank you!

Dear Ms Elliott, I am not Korean, I am British, but I have heard that in Busan it might still be possible to obtain a visa without the ARC card... do you know about this? Thank you :O)

Are you Korean? If you are not Korean, you can't apply for Chinese Work Visa(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa/work.htm) in Korea, now the China embassy/consulate in South Korea ask non-Korean applicants to provide Alien Registration Card valid for at least 6 months. But you can apply for work visa in Hong Kong if all the paperwork is prepared.

As I know, the China embassy in Busan doesn't ask for the ARC with at least 6 remaining validity, but it asks for the ARC card. Applicants with ARC card valid for less than 6 months can get a China Visa through the consulate in Busan, but you don't have the ARC card.
