About:China Transit Visa

Hello,
I will be traveling from Mongolia to Singapore, I will transfer in Beijing in the same airport, my stop over will last 21 hours, I would like to enter the city for a few hours, or at least get into a hotel. Do I require a visa? I have tickets connecting each other up untill I get back to my country of residency.

Yes, you need a Transit Visa because you go out of the airport. Please apply for transit visa to China before your trip.

You can't get a China transit visa in South Korea because China embassy in Seoul or China consulate in Busan asks non-Korean applicants to provide Alien Registration Card. You can apply for it in Mongolia. If the application is denied in Mongolia, then you have to try for the last time at the Beijing Airport(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/beijing/capital-airport.htm)
