About:How to Take

I am taking the high speed train (G train) from Shanghai to Hangzhou and vice versa. Can I bring my big luggage on board the train? Thanks.

Yes, each passenger is allowed to take a certain amount of carry-on baggage for free on trains in China. And the allowance for one adult passenger is 20 kg (44 pounds), while 10 kg (22 pounds) for children tickets holders. About the details, you would better consult the staff at train stations.
