Hi,

we are to dutch people who want to travel via Mongolia to China. We are applying for a chinese tourist visa in Ulaan Bataar. Would you be so kind to please answer our question because we would like to be sure. We travel by train to Bejing. For the first few nights we have a hotel booking. After that we are travelng without previous hotel bookings. In Chengdu we plan to book a trip to Tibet (and arrange our Tibet travel permit there). Recap: is it possible to obtain a chinese tourst visa for 60 days in UB without a return ticket and all hotel bookings? Thank you in advance.

I don't think you can obtain a Chinese tourist visa for 60 days without return ticket and all hotel booking, however, you can have a try, generally speaking, citizens of Dutch can easily get a single entry tourist visa in Ulaan Bataar. The visa regulations vary according to nationality and recent situation, therefore, no exact answer can be given.
