HiI and my 2 other siblings had booked a 5 D tour to hainan from 9 to 13 Feb 2011. Subsequently, we were thinking we might as extend may be 2 days to visit a relative in lingao xian, jialai zhen, mei tang cun. Our tour agent are unable to advise.  We are aware that the price may be higher than usual. Can anyone advise1) Which hotel would you recommend that we stay which is convenient to travel to the relative's place and get to the airport? 2) what is the convenient transport (estimate cost, distance etc) to get there ?3) we were thinking of maybe visiting the relative in the night if we cannot extend but is the location easily accessible in the night.  This is our 1st time travelling to Hainan and desperately need help and advices. Thank you!

Huandao Tide Hotel, Haikou is an advisable hotel in Haikou for you which is only 40 minutes drive from the Haikou airport. It is about 11km away to Haikou West Bus Station, you can easily get a taxi from the hotel to the west bus station to take bus to Lingao Town. From Lingao Town, you can take bus to Jialaizhen.  The last bus from Haikou to Lingao Town departs at 19:30. It is not so convenient to travel those places at night. hello. i do not think there are some good hotels in lingao county. haikou is not very far away from there , u can live in the haikou city, and visit your friends in the day.the way u are going there can be to two ways. u can hire a taix take u there, or u can hire a car driving there by yourself. i do not agree with your idea  that u can go there in the night, it is not safe for your strengers here,  thai is all , have a good time , i am here as a guide. thank u
