About:Haikou Meilan Airport

Do i need a visa to Haikou i'm holding a Philippine passport but working in singapore and my friend is holding a France passport.
(both of us have singapore working permit) Please reply. Thank you

Yes,you both need visa to Haikou. But if you join a Haikou tour(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/package/haikou.htm) , group with 5 or more people, provided you hold valid ordinary passports and stay in Hainan not exceeding 15 days, visas are not required.

Hi Ms Summersnow,

thank u for your prompt reply. i will be staying for 5 days and 4 nights in haikou and visit one of our company property. I won't be joining any tour. i booked my flights 2 way and definitely be back in singapore aftr 5 days. do i still need a visa or i can get it upon arrival? and likewise it's only the three of us will be travelling in haikou. Please reply back. thank you so much

Mam,

i understand that Passengers with a citizenship of the countries which have foreign relations or official trades with PRC can enjoy the facility of Visa on Arrival (VOA) at Haikou International Airport Philippines and France are on the list. I would just like to confirm.
Likewise if we decided to get the haikou tour upon arrival, and we are only 3 pax. can we still be exempted with the no visa required? i understand minimum is 5.
