About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Hi, I am currently in China and have a multiple-entry 180day student visa. It expires at the end of march 2011 and it says I need to enter before Jan 21, 2011.

If I exit China now and enter again before Jan 21, 2011, say for example on Dec 25, and my 180 days starts from Dec 25.

Will my re-entry date change again? Would I be able to leave China again and return before those 180 days is up?

Thank you!

Hi Thank you for your reply. I would like to know if after I exit and reenter China, will my re-entry deadline (currently Jan 20, 2011) change or stay the same?

For example:
I entered China on Sept 1 2010. My 180 day visa expires in March 2011. My re-entry deadline is Jan 20, 2011.

I would like to exit on Dec 22, 2010 and re-enter on Dec 25, 2010. At that point, the 180 days starts anew right? So my visa should expire in May 2011 (instead of March 2011) right? At that point, will my re-entry deadline also change or is it still Jan 20, 2011? I would like to exit AGAIN on Dec 25 or 26 2010 and this time NOT return until mid February 2011. Is it possible to this without applying for a new visa?

I understand now. The Jan 21 deadline does not change. Thank you!

yes, if you exit China now and re-enter China on Dec 25, your 180 days stay duration starts from Dec 25, 2010. You can leave China again and return to China before Jan 21, 2011 because you hold multiple entry visa.

Before Jan 21, 2011, you can enter and exit China for many times.

Can you tell me your DURATION OF EACH STAY on your visa, 180 days, right? If your stay duration is 180 days after entry, you can re-enter China on Jan 21, 2011, then you can stay in China till July 21, 2011.

Yes, Ms.Kim, the deadline will stay the same. But if you will re-enter China in mid February, then you need to apply for a new visa. So, you can rearrange your plan and enter China before Jan.20, and it allows you to live another 180 days.
