About:Great Wall History

CAN ANY ONE TELL ME THAT WHAT TYPE OF MATERIAL WAS USED TO BUILD THIS WALL?
IT IS SAID THAT IT HAD A SORT OF THICK WATER WHICH IS LEFT OUT AFTER WASHING RICE
IS THIS TRUE????

The walls were built with earth, stone or bricks. A legend has it that General Cai Kai had ever built Huanghuacheng Great Wall(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/china_great_wall/scene/beijing/huanghua.htm) with thick water left after washing rice, and the wall was Surprisingly firm.
