About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

hi please help !

I am Singapore citizen. my son is a 12 years old Singapore born permanent resident(but holding China passport.)we are planning to go to Shenzhen by air for one week holiday. during the trip, we have planned to visit Hong Kong & Macao for a 2- 3 days by train from Shenzhen. in this situation. Does my son need and visa to Hong Kong or Macao? How long does it take to approve? how about me?

Your son need an Hong Kong entry permit, it takes 4 working days for China embassy in Singapore to issue it. Your son doesn't need a visa to Macau because Chinese passport holders with the Permanent Residence Permit of a third country are exempt from a visa to Macau for 7 days.

May I know is there any difference for my son's hongkong visa requirement if We travel from zhuhai to Macau and then take ferry to hongkong back to shenzhen and head to singapore? and another way is from shenzhen take train to hongkong and the ferry to macau, then head back to shenzhen? does my son need a visa to hongkong in both ways ? thank you. wendy
