About:China Transit Visa

Hi. I am an Australian passport holder. I have a 36 hour transit in Shanghai (Pudong Airport) before my flight to New York (my final destination). Do I need to apply for a visa if I wish to exit the airport?

You don't need to apply for a visa even though you exit the airport and visit Shanghai during the 36 hours transit.
