Dear sir/madam,
I will arive beijing on morning 14th of December, i want to go taiyuan through train on same day i see the time table of trains dep from beijing west station,can you please tell me i get train ticket when i go to station or tickets should be purchased some days before departure ,how long from beijing airport to beijing west station ,how can i go from airport to station ,taxi drivers know english?how i reserve a ticket i am very worried about train reservation.is there any tourist help desk in airport and railway station.

From the Beijng Capital Airport, you could catch the airport shuttle bus Line 7 to Beijing West Railway Station in one hour.

It seems that this 14th is not a travel peak season or a weekend, so if you could arrive in the railway station in the morning, I think you could purchase a hard-seat of one of the bullet-trains from Beijing to Taiyuan. The journey is about 3.5 hours. If you still worry about the train tickets, then you may reserve one at China Train Tickets.
