About:K Trains

Hi, will there be any places to shop in Kunming, as we are going there in mid Jan.
Will the shopping be cheap as per compare to Gunagzhou?

Kunming is famous for local handiwork including ivory and woodcarving, Dai Jin (brocade made by Dai artisans), and Dai Zhu Bian (Dai bamboo basketry). You can find many shops about these things, such as Da Guan Branch of Wal Mart at E1 and E2, Daguan Shangye Cheng, Nan Yao Market near downtown.
The price of the shopping depends on what kind of things you buy. It is hard to make a comparation.

Sure. There are many places for shopping in Kunming and the price is chearper than in Guang Zhou in average. Kunming is famous for tea or jade.
