7 hours? It seems only 4-5 hours to finish the Li River Cruise. It usually starts at 09:30 and 10:00 in the morning. Thus, you have no need to stay over night on the way. Well, down stream from Guilin Yangdi Village(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/attraction/guangxi/guilin/li_river/yangdi-village.htm) to Xingping, the river passes an endless procession of distinct peaks and bamboo groves and the stunning landscape. This part is the highlight of the cruise. If you are interest, you may spend more time there. If you want to continus from yandi on your own, sugguest you go hiking or travel by bamboo crafts. Then you do not need to take the cruise ship, why not take bus from Guilin to yangdi directly. The most wonderful part is here and not necessary to waster money and time on the ship from Guilin to Yangdi. How do you think about this? Hopt it make sense.
