About:Badaling Great Wall

Hi,

I'm traveling with a friend to Beijing over the Christmas holiday. Can you tell me how to get to the Great Wall, Ming Tombs, Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Temple of Heaven, and the Summer Palace from Subway line 5 Dongzhimen station.

Which part of the Great Wall, Ms Bobbie? I guess Badaling?! Another prolem is that Dongzhimen is a subway station of Subway Line 2, not Line 5. So, could you clarify your starting place. You will not spend one day at each place and depart everytime from Dongzhimen, so, how many days do you want to complete all these places?

Hi,

We are planning on going to Badaling. We want to go to Badaling, the Ming tombs, and the Summer Palace in one day. We would like to take the train to Badaling then bus 314 I think to the Ming tombs, but we're not sure how to get to the Summer Palace from there.

On another day we would like to visit Tianamen Square and the Temple of heaven.

The 3rd day we will visit the Forbidden City and the Lama Temple followed by a trip to Silk Street.

Each time we will start and return at Dongzhimen MTR near our hotel.
