I am planning on going to Hong Kong the week of 6 Dec. '10. I would also like to visit friends in Shanghai. I have been told by my Chinese friends that I may be able to get a Chinese visa to Shanghai while I am in Hong Kong without having to return to my country of domicle and apply for a Chinese visa which would not be practical.I have also been told that I can go to the Chinese Resources Building in Hong Kong to apply for a Chinese visa to go to Shanghai. Is this correct and can I get a Chinese visa in Hong Kong to go to Shanghai?
